Let’s be honest: Hockey is an expensive sport.

We should know. We’re James and Martyn, two Hockey Dads heavily involved in our local junior club. With four hockey-mad sons between us, we've been there, and are still there.

You watch your players develop a passion for the game, and just as quickly, they develop a taste for the "latest and greatest" sticks. The ones with the big-brand hype, the flashy graphics, and the eye-watering price tag.

Parents want the best bang for their buck. Players just want the hype.

The "What If?" Moment

DRIP HOCKEY was born on the side of a rink on the South Coast of England in January 2025. We were fed up with the mounting costs. What started as a joke—"We could create cooler, better-performing sticks than that!"—quickly turned into a serious idea.

What if we actually could?

What if we could design a stick that had all the "drip"—the style, the confidence, the cool factor—that players crave, but also had the elite performance and sensible price tag that parents demand?

That's the gap we’re here to close.

We’re here to create a product that players want, and parents don't mind buying.
